The system consists of a flour holding tank installed above the existing zig-zag flour sifter. This tank is filled from the existing in-plant pneumatic flour system. The tank bracket has two totally enclosed fluorescent lights that provide better visibility for the operator in the zig-zag transfer area. The light lens is hinged for easy cleaning. We have a butterfly valve at the bottom of the tank so the sifter may be removed without emptying tank.
The zig-zag enclosure has a unique sifter and vacuum system that separates any scrap dough and excess dusting flour. Scrap dough simply falls into a catch pan after crossing the sifter screen, while the clean uncontaminated dusting flour passes through the screen and is collected by the vacuum nozzle and blown back into the flour holding tank to be recycled. The Pan-o-mat trays are stabilized and aligned automatically during dough transfer.
This system can be used alone or in tandem with a Remote Vacuum and Filtering System coupled with one or more of our state of the art pressurized vacuum heads or other
customized attachments.
Note: Pan-o-mat trays enter the zig-zag enclosure
at the bottom near the sifter screen and continues inside the zig-zag enclosure through the dough
transfer zone.
